Our application process
The following recruitment process has proven successful for us, but we also recognize that some positions require a deviation from the standard process. This flexibility allows us to respond to the specific requirements and challenges of individual positions and ensure that the best possible fit between the candidates, Avelios and the vacancy is achieved in the end.
Interview with our People & Operations team
In an initial video interview, we want to get to know the person behind the CV. We want to understand what drives you and what experience you can bring to the position in question. At the same time, you will receive comprehensive information about Avelios and we will answer all your questions.
Processing of a job-specific case
Next, you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and we will share a case with you to work on. We try to ensure that the case is as close as possible to the actual tasks of the position. This allows us to get a good impression of your skills and you, in turn, get a realistic impression of the tasks you would be faced with.
Presentation of results and discussion
In the final step, we will invite you to an interview with a colleague from the department and/or your manager. If possible, we will organize this interview in our office so that you can get an impression of the working environment and we can also get to know each other personally. You will have another opportunity to present your results and you will have a professional discussion about the specified topic. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to clarify any questions you may have.

Can I also send an unsolicited application if no suitable position is advertised?
Yes, you can find the "Talent wanted (f/m/d)" job advertisement in the "Other" category of our job vacancies, where you are welcome to apply and let us know your preferred areas in which you would like to work in the future. We will review your application and give you feedback as soon as possible.
How do I apply for an open position at Avelios?
Each job advertisement contains a button that takes you directly to the application form. There you can directly enter your most important data and upload documents. We then receive the application directly in our HR tool.
What documents are required for an application?
All we need in the first step is your current CV. You are welcome to attach a cover letter, but you don't have to. If you have references from your most recent, relevant jobs, you are also welcome to attach these as an option. For software developers, we would also appreciate a link to your Github profile.
How can I submit additional documents for my application?
If you remember after submitting your application that you have forgotten a document that you would like to send us, simply reply to the automatic confirmation of receipt that you received by e-mail. We will then add the documents to your application.
When should the advertised position be filled?
As a rule, all positions published on our website are available immediately. If you notice that some positions have been advertised for some time, it may be a permanent vacancy for which we have already recruited new colleagues but still have additional requirements in this area due to our strong growth.
Can I apply for several positions?
Sometimes it happens that you are not only interested in one advertised position, but several job advertisements arouse your interest. In this case, it is best to apply for just one of them and let us know in a short cover letter which other positions you are interested in.
What can I prepare for the interviews?
The first interview is mainly about your previous experience and motivation and about clarifying the general conditions of employment. We would be pleased if you would familiarize yourself with Avelios in advance and inform yourself. This will help us to clarify any specific questions you may have. The interview in which you present your case is primarily about your expertise and the thoughts you have put into it. You are also welcome to use this opportunity to ask any open questions about your day-to-day work at Avelios.
I am a student - what opportunities do I have with Avelios?
We always have vacancies in various areas, e.g. as a working student or intern. If it suits both sides during this time, we will be happy to take you on as a permanent employee after your studies.
What does the remuneration package at Avelios consist of?
Our remuneration package is made up of 3 parts: Salary, virtual company shares (for permanent employees) and benefits.
What is the Avelios Employee Stock Option Program?
It is an employee participation program and gives you the opportunity to share in Avelios' success. Through your commitment, you make an enormously important contribution to our growth and you should of course also benefit from this. The virtual options therefore entitle you to payment of a cash amount if the exercise conditions are met. The amount depends on the company valuation at that time. We will be happy to provide you with more details during the recruitment process.
